Pelatihan Literasi Informasi Model BIG6 sebagai Strategi Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Informasi Mahasiswa Baru di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas pelatihan literasi informasi berbasis model Big6 dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi informasi mahasiswa baru pada perguruan tinggi teologi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) dengan desain one-group pretest–posttest, melibatkan 86 mahasiswa baru STFT Jaffray Makassar. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan skor rata-rata dari 58,6 (kategori rendah) menjadi 78,3 (kategori tinggi). Aspek yang mengalami peningkatan tertinggi adalah Sintesis Informasi (23,2 poin) dan Strategi Pencarian Informasi (22,8 poin). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa model Big6 efektif mengatasi kesulitan utama mahasiswa dalam mencari, mengevaluasi, dan mengolah informasi akademik. Penelitian merekomendasikan integrasi model Big6 dalam kurikulum pendidikan teologi untuk meningkatkan kesiapan akademik, kemandirian belajar, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis.
